Guided Programs

A-LIFE is a 5-day program inspired by the fasting-mimicking diet created by Dr. Valter Longo. He has dedicated years of research to achieving longevity, slow ageing, reducing disease and weight management through plant-based and whole food nutrition. You can read more about it in his book “The Longevity Diet” which we highly recommend.

EATbyalex created this program using the concept of fasting-mimicking which puts your body into a fasting mode while still providing the right nutrients and supplements to your body. The restricted calorie diet makes your body think you are fasting and therefore reset and cleanse.

The package includes all your meals as well as supplements for 5 days. All the meals will be delivered once for the whole week. You can order it here.

New Life

This 9-day program expands on A-Life's detox and intermittent fasting ethos by adding two days of our daily meal plan before and after the core offering, so that you can smoothly ease in and out of the A-Life experience.

Green Life

This 7-day or 12-day program will guide you towards a more mindful life. We will teach you how to consume more plants through mindful eating and add easy, healthy, and sustainable habits into your daily routine.


A-Life Guided Exerience is our orginial program. It takes place in group at the same dates and is guided by our team. This program included live workouts. 

A-Life On-Demande is not guided but you can join at any time of the year when it is most convenient for you. The soups & shots come frozen but everything else is the same as in the guided version. You will have access to on-demand workouts but not to the live workouts which are only available during the guided version.

Meal Plan Subscriptions

After your first week's order you can pause, skip, or cancel your subscription by Friday. To do this, log into your customer profile and click "manage subscriptions", then click "see more details".

If you are going away and would like your next week's orders to be on hold - press skip and you will skip next week and resume the week after. You can continue to skip each week, as many times as needed.

If you'd like to pause for several weeks at a time then you can also use the pause function. Make sure to resume before Friday at midnight on the week before you'd like meals again. 

Ff you have not created an account, you can make any changes by following the link provided per email. 

After your first week's order you can pause, skip, or cancel your subscription by Friday. To do this, log into your customer profile and click "manage subscriptions", then click "see more details". Here you will find the pause, skip, and cancel functions. To cancel, press cancel and confirm.

Additionally in your customer account, you can manage your subscription by updating the quantity, the frequency and even the meal plan. You also can add any products to your order.

You can make any changes by Friday in your account or if you have not created an account, by following the link provided per email. 

Flexibility is at the heart of our plans. Try out for a week with our one-time purchase option, or subscribe at 15% off. Should you ever feel like you need to take a hiatus, our subscription plans can be paused or cancelled by Friday. Make any changes by Friday to implement them the following week.

Unfortunately once you have pressed the button "skip" and officially confirmed this request, it cannot be undone.

Meal Plans

Our cutoff time is Friday midnight. You must complete your booking by Friday to begin receiving your meal plan the following week.

Yes, all our meals are fully cooked and ready-to-eat. You can reheat them in an oven or in a pan in less than 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can remove them from the fridge at least 30 to 60 minutes prior to consuming them. It is much better to consume food at room temperature and it also tastes much better. 


For most dinners, we recommend reheating them in pan on medium heat. Transfer first to a pan, then add a little bit of water, and cook for 5 minutes.


We recommend to consume the lunches at room temperature. You can take it out of the fridge 30 to 60 minutes before eating.

The lunches can also be reheated but we recommend to remove the leafy greens prior to reheating. You can serve the warm lunch with the lettuce on the side and add the dressing at the end.


The breakfast bowls can easily be reheated by transferring to a pan and cooking for 5 minutes on low to medium heat.

Calories are a measure of energy but each calorie is very different depending on the type of food you eat. Calories from carbs can’t be compared to those from fats or proteins because they are differently processed and absorbed by your body. 

So rather than counting calories, we want to help you eat the right amount of nutrient-rich food using a balanced macronutrient approach. Every meal that we prepare for you is using seasonal ingredients that vary from week to week.

All our meals are vegan, refined sugar-free, and 100% natural. We very rarely use gluten in the lunches with whole food ingredients like rye. We use organic nuts and coconut so if you are allergic to nuts, we currently cannot cater for your allergy. 

When booking your meal plan, you can choose up to two dislikes.

Our program is designed to give you all of the bioavailable, easy-to-digest plant-based proteins you need to build lean muscle, trigger metabolic functions in your body and keep your energy soaring. Some of our favourite plant-based protein sources are flaxseeds, chia & hemp seeds, nuts, chickpeas, lentils & beans, tofu & tempeh.

Our clean eating concept is inspired by the latest research for longevity from Professors like Valter Longo & David Sinclair. Our philosophy follows an approach of roughly 0.7 gram of plant protein per kilo of body weight. If your goal is to build muscle mass and require more proteins, we are happy to support you with ideas and suggestions to complement our meal plans.


We encourage you to first try our Discovery Pack before signing up for longer. The special trial package includes all our available meals and will allow you to decide for yourself what is the best meal plan for you. It only costs CHF 65 instead of CHF 100. We offer a set menu du jour of healthy meals that rotates every 4 weeks. So for 4 weeks, not a sinlge meal will be the same. We also adjust the menus with the season and availability from our farmers. We strongly believe in using local, seasonal, and fresh produce. All our meals are plant-based, 100% natural, and made with whole foods. We don’t use refined sugar nor processed food. We even make our own plant-based milks by blending nuts with Züri water!

You can start your meal plan only as of next week. We are currently working on a solution for one-time purchase where you can choose your starting week. Stay tuned or get in touch with us if you want us to manually do it for you. 

You can easily order your healthy meal plans for your friends, colleagues or family. You can add as many different meal plans as you wish to. Each meal plan can have its own dislikes. 

The serving size of our nourishing meals is made for one person. Each type of meal is designed to have roughly the same macronutrients values. You can find our macro approach for each meal plans here in FAQ.

We believe in freshly made meals with no waste. We cook and deliver your meals once a day. Our meal plans are available in 4 frequencies:

5 days (Monday to Friday)
4 days (Monday to Thursday)
3 days (Monday to Wednesday)
2 days (Thursday to Friday)

Complete your booking by Friday to begin receiving your subscription the following week.

Monday meal plans will be delivered between 5am to 9am on Monday morning. Our couriers will only ring after 7am, please make sure to check your mailbox.

Tuesday to Friday meal plans will be delivered the evening before from Monday to Thursday between 3pm to 7pm.

We deliver in the Cantons of Zurich, Zug, and Schwyz*.

Meal Plans

Our weekly meal programs take place from Monday to Friday with a fresh delivery every day. The deliveries with all your meals for the day will take place the evening before except on Sunday evening when deliveries take place on Monday early morning.  Our couriers will only ring you door bell after 7am to not wake you. Please make sure to check you mailbox.

Like a private chef would do, we want to offer you the most nourishing meals possible and therefore cook and deliver fresh every day. We have a zero waste kitchen and only buy what is needed to cook your meals. Please make sure to order your meal plan by latest Friday for a start next week. 

Guided Programs

Each guided program has its own delivery schedule. Please check under each program. 

Our dream is to be able to deliver all over Switzerland.

For the meal plans, shop items, New Life, and Green Life we deliver in the cantons of Zurich, Zug & Schwyz around the lake of Zurich, and the city of Rapperswil.

A-Life is available in the whole of Switzerland.

If your postcodes isn’t available at checkout, please send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

If you are not home during delivery, our delivery partners will leave your bag in your mailbox or, if there is no room in your mailbox, wherever possible. Please make sure to empty your mailbox to leave enough space for your bag(s). You can leave delivery instructions when your book your meal package online.

Please note that while our partners will do their best to follow your delivery instructions, we cannot guarantee that they will be accommodated and we are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged deliveries that result from these requests. It is your responsibility to be home during the delivery window.

For deliveries going to businesses in the cities of Zürich & Zug we will make our best endeavour to deliver your Monday morning packages after 8:00 and your afternoon packages before 18:00.

You can only enter one address when you book online but we can easily deliver to a different address if you let us know in advance.
