These double chocolate pancakes are perfect if you're craving something indulgent but healthy!
Ingredients
- 90 grams oatmeal
- 180 ml plant milk
- ¾ large banana
- 2 tbsp Cosmic Cacao Blend
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 medjool date
Sauce:
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter
- 1 tbsp Cosmic Cacao Blend
- 3 tbsp plant milk
Toppings:
- Sliced banana
- Chopped almonds
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine the oatmeal, Cosmic Cacao Blend, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix together.
- Add the oat milk and mashed banana (and optional maple syrup), and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- Preheat a pan to medium heat and add a little oil. Pour 2 to 3 large tablespoons of the pancake batter onto the pan and cook with the lid on for 2 minutes. Flip the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Make the sauce by simply whisking the ingredients together until smooth.
- Serve your pancakes with chopped nuts, banana, and sauce, or any other desired toppings.
