Cinnamon is a spice that comes from the bark of Cinnamomum trees is native to the Caribbean, South America, and Southeast Asia. People have used cinnamon as holy spice since 2000 BC in Ancient Egypt. Today, cinnamon is the second most popular consumed spice worldwide after black pepper.
